Random days and the Tech game~

Conner and Kelso :)

He is always cuddly!

The only picture I took on my camera before my battery died, we did get some
on my phone that I posted on Facebook.

Conner and I being silly while getting ready for the Tech game!

Walking to the game. It was awesome cause it was also homecoming week, so there was ton's
of floats and fun games and festivities going on before the game started.

ham-bone :)

In the game, watching intensely

It was a blast! And the weather could not have been better,
and we won!

cute boys :)

Getting a lift back to the car, which was like 2 miles away...
It was a great and super long day!

Last 2 weeks!!!

Moving!!! Here's Conner after our first night in our new place.
He had some serious bed head, but enjoyed pulling Kelso around the boxes :)

The move went great, we were super thankful to have a ton of help!

The next day we watched Georgia, and they enjoy being Diego and Dora!
They are so cute together, and Conner was really loving her!
We will miss them so much now that they've moved back to Cali :(

Conner and I just being silly with the camera~

Mark's Grandmother and Aunt Cathy came over for a visit once we got settled,
and took us out to dessert :)

Conner got Cathy to play a lil XBox as well!

So here are a few pics of the new place for those of you that
can't come visit in person...
So that's our bedroom above (and so excited for large closet space!)

(Kelso can't pass up a picture either)

My birthday was Tuesday the 7th, but since both boys were off on Monday we celebrated then.
We swam and played tennis, then got ready and walked around our super cute downtown, and ate at an amazing yummy restaurant! Great 26th!!!

It's been a busy last couple weeks, but filled with super exciting new adventures! We are thankful that things are slowing down a bit now.
Conner is enjoying his new school a lot. The days are still a little long, but overall he really enjoys his teachers and the kids in his class. He loves the scheduled curriculum and how much he is learning. We are still adjusting to the daily homework assignments, but I think with Conner's personality this school is perfect for him! He is loving that there is a beautiful pool and tennis courts really close, we've been taking advantage of the amenities a lot lately. Also one of his front teeth is loose (Ahhhh!) I can't wait to see what he looks like without it! It will be tooth number 3!!
Mark is staying super busy this semester, he's taking pretty full load and keeping his grades high! He is also part of the ROTC program through Tech. So by the time he graduates he will be an Officer. Overall he's enjoying it so far. He work's out in the mornings with them and has one mid day class a week. The morning's are a little early but I think it's really good for him, and we are excited to have a little more Military service under his belt. We think him coming out being an officer and a degree from Tech will be great (and I think Mark was missing the military a bit), and it should be helpful especially since he will probably get a government job of some kind.
I have been busy since the move doing things around the new place. I've enjoyed driving around and getting to know our new neighborhood, and all the fun things that are now close by. Staying busy with Conner trying to catch up with the things he needs to know at his new school, and being a listening ear to everything he has to say about his days at school.
I think we are all enjoying our days since the moves, and we are definitely looking forward to the fall approaching (it's our favorite season here!), the temps have been a little warm this summer!

OB-LA-DI, OB-LA-DA Life goes on......

So here's a couple pictures of Conner on his first day of school, I would
have liked to get more, but that morning came a little early :)
He is really enjoying school (now), and looks forward to telling us everything he did that day.
It was a rough start, coming form such a small preschool, to such a large Kindergarten.
But he has adjusted well, and has already made quite a few friends!

Forcing a smile for me as we're getting ready to walk out the door.
With a blurry lil Kelso kitty beside him ;)
We are super excited that he's already having homework, and hopeful that he
gets challenged a bit this year~
We are reading a ton already and next week we have a show and tell, and school pictures already.
So busy busy busy already!
Also next week will be our last full week of having Mark home full time :(
It's been sooo nice having him around 24/7 this last month or so, but
alas he must go back to school, especially if we ever plan on him not being a student in
near future (or by the time we're 40!), lol

Pic's of our angel~

Because she came out sideways her head and one arm got bruised,
and because she had no blood flow she stayed bruised colored.
Conner said it best when he said "she looks like a little purple grape."

I heard it forever ago, but it's been playing in my head the last couple days, I
encourage you to listen to it :)*
